- Skated a lovely program to a piano version of the song All I Ask of You from Phantom of the
Opera. She has nice expression. She fell on a double axel. She
did a pretty layback/catch foot spin. She did a Y spiral very well
stretched. She has pretty postions in her spins and spirals.
12th
- Victoria Hecht
- She has good flow over the ice. She landed a double jump and did a
fast step sequence into a triple I think she two footed. She fell on
something. She has good presentation and very well stretched Bielman
spin. She did a forward Charlotte spiral.
5th
- Chelsi Guillen
- She landed a double axel and she fell on something. She did a
double jump out of footwork. She did a pretty layback/Bielman spin. She
had a very long held change edge spiral. She has pretty arm movements.
10th
- Krystal Davis
- A long held change edge catch foot spiral. She landed a double
lutz/double loop and a single axel. Her layback spin was fast but
traveled a bit. She landed a double out of steps.
13th
- Vanessa Lam
- Music was Waltz of the Flowers. She has very
flexible spiral positions. She fell on something. She did a Y spiral
with a great smile on her face and a very stretched Bielman spin. She
did a nice split jump into a double/double loop combo.
7th
- Ashlyn Regasa
- Music was Clair De Lune - She did a pretty
spiral into a double axel which was two footed. I think she fell on
something. She has a fast combo spin with pretty positions. She did a
double lutz/doutble toe. She has a nice change edge spiral long held
with a smooth change of edges. She did a Bielaman spin which she pulled
down to her face.
11th
- Taryn Horacek
- Skated to Sweet Charity - She landed a
double/double combo and fell on the axel. She has very flexible spirals
and landed a double lutz.
14th
- Katlynn McNab
- She did a fast and pretty Ina Baur. She fell on a double axel. She
did a very deep lunge into a double/double combo. She has good speed. A
well stretched catch foot change edge spiral. Very fast spiral sequence
and great position in her sit spin. She did a double with her hands down
at her side.
4th
- Deanna Inn
- She did a double axel. She did a shoot the duck very low to the
ice. She landed a double/double combo. She has nice air position in her
jumps with her toes pointed. She landed a double out of steps. She has
good audience connection and presentation. She fell on her Bielman spin,
the weird juju that was making skaters fall on their spins that night
hit her. She has good speed and flow.
9th
- Lindsay Davis
- She has a very pretty andf fast layback spin which she did not feel
compelled to turn into a Bielman! She landed a triple sal. Very dramatic
presentation. She did a high and fast double axel. She did a double lutz
with kind of a hop as the combo jump. Really nice program, smooth
skating.
1st
- Christina Guterros
- She nas nice expression and nice flow. She landed a double axel and
turned out of a double jump. She did steps into a double but stepped out
of it. She did a change edge Y spiral and a hydroblade move.
6th
- Mariyah Thurston
- She is graceful and moves very well. She did a spread eagle into a
double axel. She did steps into a triple jump but two footed it. She has
a beautiful layback which she turned into a Bielman. She did a
salchow/toe combo. She did a pretty, well stretched camel spin.
3rd
- Song King
- She did a double axel and a double/double combo. She did a very
stretched split jump into a double jump. She has fast spins. She did a
forward Charlotte with great speed. She dropped to her knees during her
combo spin, that spin curse I mentioned before.
2nd
- China Lonza
- She fell on a double axel. She landed a double/double loop combo
and a double lutz.
8th
- Britt Olsen
- She was very fast. She did a single axel. She did some hydroblading
and a split jump with good speed in and out. She landed a double/double
combo and a double out of steps.
15th
I didn't get to see the Novice Lady's Free Skate, but I still have
reports to type up keep coming back for more.
