- Music was Salome. She started with a
very stretched Y-Spiral. She landed a double axel, a triple toe/double
toe and a triple salchow. She has very flexible spins and spirals. She
landed a triple sal. She did a very stretched layback/catch/Bielman
spin. Popped a loop. She landed a triple salchow/double toe and another
triple toe. She did a fast, high split jump into a triple jump. She
landed a double axel/double toe. She has smooth edges, her blades glide
quietly over the ice. Very complete program, well executed.
2nd in free and 4th overall
- Ellie Kawamura
- Ellie has great expression and her expressions reflect the
character of the music. She is fast. She had problems with her first
jump, I think a hand down, hard to read my notes. She landed a triple
sal/double toe and a double axel. She landed a triple loop. She
intrepets music very well. She did a lovely Ina with good flow. She
landed a triple/double and a triple salchow. She has a beautiful layback
spin, into a catch/Bielman. Her step sequence is difficult and well
timed to the music. She landed a double lutz/double loop. This is a very
nice program and she skated it really well.
3rd in free and 1st overall.

- Anna Malkova
- She landed a triple/double combo, a triple lutz/double toe a triple
loop and another triple lutz. She has very fast, well extended spins.
She landed a double axel, fell on something and landed a triple jump.
1st in the free and 2nd overall
- Victoria Rackohn
- She is very graceful with great extension and lovely positions. She
put her hand down on a triple lutz. She landed a triple jump. She fell
on a loop jump. She stumbled on a triple salchow. She has the most
gorgeous layback/catch/Bielman spin. She landed a double lutz/loop. She
did a lovely Ina into a double axel. She landed a double axel/double
loop. She finished way behind her music.
4th in the free and 3rd overall
- Angelyn Nguyen
- She fell on a triple jump, two footed a double jump. She landed a
double axel/double toe. She did three turns into a loop, but put her
hand down. She landed a double jump. She did a layback/catch/Bielman.
She landed a double axel/double toe and another double axel. She did a
one footed flying sit spin.
6th in the free 5th overall
- Sophia Adams
- Skated to Wizard of Oz. This is beautiful
choreography and Sophia interprets it so well. She puts everything arms,
edges and expression into interpreting the music and it is wonderful.
She landed a triple sal/double toe and a triple toe. She has great
footwork, it is difficult and it interprets the music. She singled an
axel. She landed a triple loop. She landed a double axel/double toe. She
has a beautiful very extended spiral right at the crescendo of "over The
Rainbo" that takes my breath away every time. She landed a double axel
and did three turns into a loop. She ends this beautiful program with a
stunning layback into a catch and very stretched Bielman.
She was 5th in
the free and 6th overall and in case I haven't made this clear she WAS
ROBBED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will miss her at Coasts.
