Jr. Men Free Skate
Jump notes are nothing like complete. I wrote down jumps as I could but
not all of them.
- David Wang
- Skated to what I think was a Chopin piano piece, don't know which
one or even if it was Chopin but it was very nice music. He put his hand
down on a triple jump, landed a double lutz/with kind of a hop after, he
landed a triple loop, double axel, two triple jumps in combination with
doubles, and another triple jump. This was a very nice program well
choreographed and well done. 2nd in free 3rd
overall
- Grisha Fournier
- Grisha is a very talented young man with great style. But he had a
very bad night in Anaheim, fell several times hard. Through it all he
kept pushing himself, never gave up on trying triple jumps. He has been
injured and I hope he will be back to 100% in time for Coasts. 4th in free and overall
- Sean Rabbit
- He did fast Ina Baur into a double axel, put his hand down on a
triple jump, landed a double jump, a triple lutz/double toe, but put his
hand down on the lutz, two footed another double jump and did a double
axel/double toe/double toe, did a very nice stretched spread eagle into
a double axel. His footwork sequence was fast and had complex steps. He
has great transitions. Sean is fast and has great ice coverage. He is
very musical with dramatic interpretation of the music. 3rd in free 2nd overall
- Stanislav Samohin
- He landed two triple axels one with a double toe. He landed two
triple lutzes one with a double toe. He put his hand down on a triple
loop and landed two other triples and a double salchow/double toe. His
jumps are very big and powerful. He is very dramatic and expressive.
