Digital cameras are a blessing and a curse. A blessing in that you can take many more pictures than when you are limited by the rolls of film you have with you. A curse because you have hundreds more pictures to go through! It becomes quite daunting to pick out the ones to post. Well, I am forcing myself to start going through them now. Here are some of the first results.

United 93

Joanna Glick was a National level competitor at the turn of the century. I met Joanna and her family at several events and you can read about one of them here:

2001 Nationals:

Joanna's older brother Jeremy Glick was one of the courageous passengers of United Flight 93 who stopped the 9/11 hijackers from blowing up the White House. A film about Jeremy and those other extraordinary people on United 93 will be out on DVD September 5. You can pre-order it from Amazon.com.
Widescreen2-Disc Special Edition

Besides his sister and parents Jeremy was survived by his wife, Lyz, and infant daughter, Emmy. Lyz has produced a memorial to Jeremy in the form of a book: "Your Father's Voice: Letters for Emmy About Life with Jeremy--and Without Him After 9/11".

Cat's Lair is the personal web site of Richard Hartman & Antoinette Aubert. This section is dedicated to figure skating. We regularly attend US Nationals and post a (semi)daily diary entry about the practices & events we attend. We and also attend other events when they are held nearby.

And we take pictures ... lots of pictures, some of which you can preview on these pages. If you don't see the skater you are interested in, feel free to ask us. Due to recent USFSA policy changes, our pictures are no longer for sale. Check here for the Cat's Lair photo policy.

The pictures are mainly taken by Richard, although Antoinette takes some of them.
