  • Junior Pairs Free
(or any of the dance programs)

2002 Novice Pairs Free

Okay same rule here as in the novice pairs short. It is late, I am tired the baby is antsy and I can't take a lot of notes.

By the way the "baby" is 28 months old, knows his numbers his alphabet and is learning to use the potty. Some people think it is time for me to stop calling him "the baby." I am resisting this.

Jenna Yount & Grant Marron
They did a pretty romantic program which I liked. They had nice choreography done very well. Twelfth in the free and overall.
Bre Ann Brown & Keith Munden
The twist was good and both their throws were good. Eleventh in the free and overall.
Mariel Miller & David Aretz
I am sorry I have no notes for them. I suspect Marshall activity. Thirteenth in the free and overall.
Samantha Skavdahl & Cole Davis
They had great positions in the lift. They are very fast. They hit side by side lutzes. Sixth in the free and overall. I am going to stop writing down the names of people I have no notes for. If you don't see your favorite team here just assume the baby kept me from writing anything about them. Lindsey Seitz & Andy Seitz- They did a one handed lift. She put her hand down on one throw the other throw was good. In the twist he caught her with his body. Seventh in the free and overall.
Tatiana Klunchoo & Manny Gardner
They did side by side salchows fine. They had a gorgeous pair spiral. They had a nice lift and a good throw. They were very happy and had an interesting combination spin. Ninth in the free and eighth overall.
Amanda Harris & David Sanders Jr.
They were very pretty, I think by that I mean their program and choreography. She fell on one throw. They did a one handed star lift. Fourth in the free and overall.
Veronica Hill & Gregory Benton
They had a very fast lift with a smooth dismount. They are very fast. The twist had a good hand catch. She fell twice on side by side jumps. Their throws were good, but didn't travel very far. Tenth in the free and overall.
Brittany Vise & Nicholas Kole
They had a nice twist. They are fast. She fell on side by side jumps. They did a throw axel. They did fast circular steps. The second lift had a scary dismount. I really liked their program, but they let the problems get to them and they got sloppy afterward. Third in the free and overall.
Colleen Okolski & Benjamin Okolski
They did a big throw which unfortunately she fell on and unfortunately that is all the notes I have for them. Fifth in the free and overall.
Katie Boxwell & A. William Sears
Wow this was amazing. They started out with a very scary fall on a twist. She fell on him and they both tumbled to the ice and I was afraid they were injured. But they got up and skated the rest of the program GREAT!! They ended up as the winners, amazing. Second in the free but first overall.
