All right Colorado where are you? There were almost as few people for the Pair's Short as for Compulsory Dance. We have some of the best pairs teams in the world, one of the best pairs teams of all time, come out and see them. I think only Canada should be allowed to host 4cs in North America, if this were Canada the stands would have been filled to the rafters.

Qing Pang & Jian Tong - China
Side by side triples were good as was the triple throw. The twist had wow height! They changed hands in the death spiral. They have a very difficult lift, he lifts her all the way down to the ice and then straight up.

Naomi Nari Nam & Themistocles Leftheris - USA
Another trademark Oppegard tango short program. Side by side triples were really good, fast going in and coming out. Throw was good and they did a double twist. I couldn't tell clearly but I think they had problems with the synch in the side by side spins. They changed hands in the death spiral, but it was awkward. It looked to me like he didn't get in the spiral position after lifting her, couldn't tell for sure. They finished after their music.

Brooke Castille & Benjamin Okolski - USA
They skated to that screechy guitar music that either Orscher and Lucash or Ina and Zimmerman skated to, or maybe both. Richard says it was Pink Floyd. They had a great triple twist. The throw was very good with a dance lift entrance. She has a beautiful position in the lift. She singled the side by side axel and it looked like he came down early and two footed. They changed hands in the death.

Rena Inoue and John Baldwin - USA
Music is The Soul of Spain. They did side by side double axels with great speed going in and out and a flourish with their hands at the landing. She landed the throw triple axel right in front of me, thank you Rena that was spectacular. They did a double twist and also changed hands in the death spiral.

Valerie Marcoux and Craig Buntin - Canada
Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White. They had good speed going into and out of side by side triples. The twist was good as was the throw. They did an excellent flip dismount from their lift.

Marina Aganna & Artem Kmyazev - Uzbekistan
Music is La Boheme - She does a cute little bit of putting on make up at the beginning of the program. They tried side by side double axel but she fell. She two footed the throw double axel. Twist was ok. They held their spirals positions very well and he turned in both directions during their lift.

Jessica Dube & Bryce Davison - Canada
Music Gallacie Flamenco - They do some nice, pretty opening moves. She fell on the side bye side jumps, she never even got up into the air so they don't even get the points for the revolutions, she just slipped on the entrance edge. Twist was okay and their lift had pretty positions. She did a Charlotte into a throw triple, very cool. The double twist was okay. They changed hands in their death spiral. The held their spirals well with great line. They have gorgeous camel spins. Great line and positions throughout the program.

Xue Shen & Hongbo Zhao - China
Music is Romanza not that other Spanish music The Kween skated. What can I say? They are one of those magical teams where two skate as one. They have picture perfect unison, relating to each other and to the audience throughout their program. I think they have entered that pantheon of the greatest of all time. The side by side triple toes and the throw triple were perfect. The triple twist had a little bit of an arm catch and he was a little slow bringing her down on the lift. After the lift she looked at him and laughed, it was so sweet. They held their catch spirals really long. They also changed hands during the death spiral, but more smoothly than any other pair. The opening playful flirt is adorable. They are so smooth and beautiful to watch. Loved it! This wasn't even their best and it was head and shoulders above anyone elese.

Anabelle Langlois & Cody Hay - Canada
Music Mr. Monotony - Side by side jumps were good, but she fell on the throw. Their spins are really good and fast. It is a nicely choreographed program.
