Do you people have any idea how cold it is here? No really, it is
cold! In California when we say it is freezing we mean it is 50 degrees,
here when they say it is freezing they mean it is FREEZING!!!!
California has so much wrong with it, insane housing prices, out of
control crime, the earth will suddenly start shaking under our feet. But
you never have to go out in 20 degree weather, it is NEVER 20 degrees!
That is a big plus.
I am tired of writing down scores, it takes too long and I will
never get these reports up. Check out USFSA.org for the whole list of
scores.
- Lauren Senft & Leif Gislasson - Canada
- Music is La Cumparsita - They seemed
hesitant in the step sequence, This was a fun and playful dance.
- Tanith Belbin & Benjamin Agosto - USA
- Music is Conceirta par Quinteto - She
stumbled a bit in the footwork, later I found out she caught her foot in
her dress. They had tons of attitude, deep edges and crisp turns.
- Xintong Huang & Xun Zhang - China
- Music is just called Tango - They have
great chemistry and relate well to each other.
- Kimberly Navarro & Brent Bomentree - USA
- Music is Assassins Tango - They have
such soft knees I think they have rubber bands for knee caps. Great
edges, great straightline footwork and great chemistry between them.
Seriously will someone tell me why they aren't higher.
- Tess Virtue & Scott Moir - Canada
- Association Tango - I love these kids.
They have great lifts, deep edges, really intricate steps. Plus they are
adorable. I know, I know you don't get points for adorable, but you
should
- Marie-France Dubreuil and Patrick Lauzon - Canada
- Paya D Ora - They have sizzling chemistry
and give each other great, playful looks throughout the program. Really
incredible, difficult steps. But they had a stumble in the footwork.
- Meryl Davis & Charlie White - USA
- A Los Amigos - They have really good
twizzles, fast sharp turns. They are also adorable.
- Cathy and Chris Reed - Japan
- I dropped my hat in the lobby and Chris picked it up for me. Thank
you Chris! Music is Tango Jalousie - Good
dance spin, nice position and speed. They were doing great but at the
very end she fell. Poor kids. Oh they are also adorable.
